His best friend BETH, now Lucy, is never far behind. When Windsor came to know her, she had spent five years of her life (then said to be 10 years) in a rescue kennel. She was safe, she did not have to fear for her life anymore, she was well fed and received as much love as as the volunteers could give her. Yet, Beth was consumed by the desire for a family, for a place of her own, a pack to belong to. Desperate, frustrated and without hope and with nowhere to go, she became a 'meat grinder'.
