Meet Windsor's Friends.

They are the lucky ones! They have now a home of their own.

Thank you, Windsor

While working with an old Boxer lady, the old Boxer gentleman in the next run made it a point to stare at us, and stare, and stare and stare...

So, we invited him to come with us. Here is an excerpt from his conversation with Windsor:

Meet Chance (on the right) and Windsor.

Chance: Hey, you! How about chasing  some squirrels or stuff?

Windsor: Ugh, squirrels! I chase them in the park every day. That's boring! Don't you have any better ideas?

Let's have fun, let's look for bigger stuff to chase!

Chance: Where, where, where is it?  I don't see anything. Hey, you! How about taking me home with you guys.

I haven't been in a real home in a long time.

Windsor: No way, you need to find your home by yourself. Go over there and think very hard about it. A home will appear. It worked for me.

Chance:   I did. Still no home.

Windsor:  Don't be silly, old man. It takes a little more effort than that.

Chance:   Look, Windsor, look over there! I made women appear. See?

Womens! Let's go chat them up. Maybe one of them will take me home.

Windsor: Yeah, right!!!! She waited all of her life just  for you, old man. Fat chance, Chance.

One week after this conversation, Chance, now called Champ, and Meggie, the old Boxer lady from  next door, together went to their new home in Laguna Beach, California. As of today, they still live there happily.

Beth's Story

Beth was abandoned and was labeled highly dog aggressive.

She was lucky to find her way to the Boxer Rescue Kennel where she was sitting all by herself in a concrete run for over three years. When Windsor first saw her, the volunteers warned him not to get close. Lest she would shred him to pieces, eat him alive, tear his legs and ears off and do other unspeakable things to him.

Kings are fearless. Windsor decided to meet the meat grinder on paws. Less than two minutes after meeting each other, Beth the Meat Grinder, and King Windsor were merrily walking down the street together to the car. Then they took a ride to a local park.

See what happened when I took the two to the park!

Shortly after these pictures were taken, Beth was herself a new home and a loving family.
She changed her name to Lucy and moved to Oregon.

Windsor lamented her departure for weeks. Then kept busy evaluating and rescueing shelter dogs.
We cannot show them all. There are just too many of them.
But all remember him fondly.
